MEET THE TEAM
Jennifer is the oldest of 3 kids. Growing up in Dallas, TX with her brothers, she was used to keeping them in line and unscathed, which contributed greatly to her adulthood. She loves a good challenge and using her problem-solving skills, which both are needed in today's healthcare. She thoroughly enjoys going up against insurance companies to make sure her patients get the care they need. Her main hobbies include keeping up with her active toddler, knitting, sewing and gardening, and traveling to Ireland with her husband. Her favorite sports team is the Pittsburg Steelers - "I bleed Black and Yellow".
Over 10 years ago when she joined the HeartPlace Dallas team, where she started as front desk check in, greeting patients and assisting with paperwork. Thanks to wonderful physicians and knowledgeable co-workers, her position developed to Office Coordinator, which allows her to assist in all areas of the clinic flow.
Carrie is the oldest of 5 siblings with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She has one adult son who lives in Denton, TX. She was born and raised as a farm kid in Northwest Missouri. She also lived in the Panhandle of Oklahoma and Western Kansas before moving to East Texas in the mid-1990s. She then moved to the DFW area, where she has been for the past 20 plus years. Her favorite vacation spot is the beach (any beach in the Caribbean). Her hobbies include being outdoors at the lake, traveling, hiking, and riding RZRs on state park trails. Carrie's favorite sports teams are the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Texans, Dallas Stars, and definitely Alabama football - Roll Tide!!!

She has been an employee with HeartPlace Dallas for 7 years working with Dr. Richard Snyder and Dr. Sadi Raza. - "I find having the ability to be a good patient liaison for the patients in our office is the most rewarding part of my position."
LaWanda is a Louisiana girl at heart. She moved to Texas 17 years ago. She is married with 2 wonderful children. She has been with the HeartPlace as a Cardiovascular Sonographer and recently joined the Dallas team as their full-time sonographer. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and taking adventurous road trips. "It's awesome seeing the country up close and personal!" Her favorite sports teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
LaWanda's education is quite impressive. She obtained an Associates of Science degree in business and then went on to attain a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Studies from Louisiana Tech. She decided to go learn all she could about cardiology when she then attended Sanford Brown College where she received a certificate in Cardiovascular Technology.
Stephanie born and raised in Sugarland, TX . She moved to Dallas, TX in 2016. She is married and has 3 beautiful children - Brittany, Kaylyn, and Wesley. Her heart and soul are her wonderful grandkids; Gabby, Alijah, and Nicholas. Her time spent with her family is the most rewarding, especially spoiling her grandkids. She enjoys her days with her lovely husband doing their crafty projects. Her hobbies include, reading a good romance series, baking, trying new recipes for her family to enjoy, watching movies, binge watching her favorite shows like Game of Thrones. Her favorite sports team is also the Pittsburg Steelers!!!
Stephanie started her career in family practice as a front office check in staff member. Then began as a Medical Assistant with Dr. Dale Faulkner at Southwest Cardiology for 15 years. When she moved to Dallas she had a brief experience with Neurology. She has been with HeartPlace Dallas going on 2 years in August working with Dr. Raza. She is a valuable member of the team!
Ternesha is our newest member at HeartPlace Dallas. She grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and relocated to Dallas recently. She is part of a large family with 3 brothers and 5 sisters!. She has a very energetic 3 year-old son. Ternesha likes writing, creative projects, and traveling with friends. She is currently in school at the University of North Texas at Dallas working towards a bachelor's degree in journalism. Her goal is to become a great journalist (and something tells me she will accomplish this!). Ternesha's short term goal is to have a positive impact on as many people as possible.
